Our Story
A clubhouse built by gamers, for gamers

Warrior Wild Citadel started in 2017 as a single shelf of games in the back of a Rose Street record shop. Today it spans two warmly lit floors of a converted Fitzroy warehouse, with hand-built oak tables, brass reading lamps, and shelves our regulars helped sort by weight and player count.
Every table is staffed by a Game Guide who can teach you Wingspan in ten minutes or referee a heated round of Catan. We are five minutes from the Brunswick Street trams and a short stroll from the Edinburgh Gardens — come for an hour, stay for the night.

Friday Night Tournaments
Weekly ranked nights — Magic: The Gathering, Catan and Mario Kart, with a rotating leaderboard and a Citadel hoodie for the season champion.

Miniature Painting Workshop
Small-group classes with brushes, paints and primed minis supplied. Learn layering and dry-brushing from our resident hobbyist Marek.

Birthday Quest Parties
A reserved corner, a custom co-op game master, themed cake from the kitchen and a goodie bag of dice for every guest. Kids and grown-ups alike.

Walk-ins are always welcome for the board game library. We do recommend booking console booths and weekend tables, as Friday and Saturday nights fill up fast. You can reserve through the form below or by phone.
We are open seven days a week from 11am until 11pm, with the kitchen running until 10pm. Friday tournaments run from 7pm and the bar stays open until close.
Absolutely. Under-18s are welcome until 8pm with a guardian, and we keep a dedicated shelf of family and kids’ games. Birthday Quest parties are one of our most-booked experiences.
Our kitchen does share plates, toasties and a rotating grazing board, plus local Fitzroy coffee, craft beer and non-alcoholic options. Table service means you never have to pause your game.
